There are many ways of buying a car. Cash is easy, finance is usually the preferred option but an important one that most of us don’t think of is Novated Lease.
It might sound complicated, but it works easier than you think. Let us explain.
Firstly let’s get a few myths out of the way: Novated Lease is not only for high paid managers, people that drive a lot of kilometres or for business usage. Everybody can make use of it. No matter your income or how many kilometres you drive, as long as your employer offers Novated Lease and you are permanently employed the team at CarBeagle can sniff out the best deal.
Novated Lease is an agreement that involves 3 parties: the employee, the employer and a Leasing company. You as the employee choose the car you want and your employer undertakes to pay the leasing company the repayments from your pre & post tax income. The employer bears no risk in this transaction they are merely facilitating the payments.
Novated leasing saves you on tax as a portion of the car payment is deducted pre-tax thereby reducing your gross salary and the tax liability. Basically this means that the part of the car payment comes out before your employer tax’s your income.
Employers generally like the option of providing novated lease options to their employees as it’s a great way to increase the employee’s net take home pay by way of tax deduction and they’re often able to receive a tax-deductible expense as they’re responsible for making the payments direct.
With a Novated Lease you don’t pay GST on the Car. That is a 10% saving on the purchase price of the car. For example if you purchased a $30,000 car that is an approx. saving of $3,000!!
No bill shock! Remember the time when you had to pay Insurance, rego all at the same time?
With a novated lease you just make one payment which includes everything (Rego, Ins., Fuel, CTP, Maintenance, Batteries)
We can access Fleet Pricing through our network of dealerships. This means more savings for you as these prices are not available to everyone.
